Why grow kits are legal to ship
Magic mushroom grow kits are fully legal to produce and sell in the Netherlands. They contain no psilocybin or psychoactive substances when shipped – only dormant mycelium in a sterile environment. Because of this, the kits are not considered controlled substances and are safe to send to both EU and non-EU countries.
Legal to receive in the EU (Mutual Recognition Law)
Under the Mutual Recognition of Goods Act of the European Union, if a product is legally sold in one EU country, it must be accepted in all others. Since our kits are legal in the Netherlands and contain no active compounds when shipped, customs authorities in other EU countries cannot block them unless a proven health risk exists.
Non-EU countries (UK, Switzerland and others)
Most non-EU countries, such as the UK and Switzerland, allow our grow kits through customs because they contain no psilocybin at the time of import. The psychoactive compounds only develop after the mushrooms begin to grow, meaning the kit itself is legal upon arrival.
