Why Grow Kits Are Legal to Ship

Magic mushroom grow kits are fully legal to produce and sell in the Netherlands. That’s because they contain no psilocybin or psychoactive substances when shipped — only mycelium in a sterile environment.As long as no mushrooms have grown yet, the kit itself is not considered a controlled substance. This makes it legally safe to send to both EU and non-EU countries at the time of customs inspection.

Legal to Receive in the EU (Mutual Recognition Law)

According to the Mutual Recognition of Goods Act of the European Union, if a product is legally sold in one EU country, it must be allowed into all other EU countries — even if it’s not approved there locally.Since our grow kits are legal in the Netherlands and contain no banned substances when shipped, customs in other EU countries must let them through — unless they pose a proven health risk, which is not the case here.

What About Non-EU Countries Like the UK or Switzerland?

Most non-EU countries allow grow kits to pass through customs because the kits do not contain any psychoactive material when shipped. The psychoactive compound (psilocybin) only forms after the mushrooms begin to grow.This means the kit is not considered illegal at the time of import — and that’s what matters for customs.
